First person shooter fans have been shooting at each other in Battlefield 1‘s Open Beta since August 30-31, but today we’ve learned that their Beta antics have an expiration date: September 8.
This comes as welcome news for Battlefield fans who up to now expected the beta to last four or five days. We expect that the extra time was added as a way to compensate for the server downtime caused by a number of DDoS attacks that brought down Electronic Arts‘ multiplayer infrastructure during the weekend.
