Developers Niebla Games revealed today that their free to play card battler Causa, Voices of the Dusk will get a Steam Early Access launch on May 26th.
This early build should include most of the major features that will be available in the full launch, and the team behind the game intends to use their time in Early Access to balance, refine and polish everything ahead of the full release.
Causa, Voices of the Dusk is a F2P multiplayer collectible card game in which players assume the role of powerful Leaders struggling for Hegemony in a vast and exotic fantasy world. The game presents a unique resource system: set aside cards from your hand or your game to raise your Cause; and bring these cards back later in the game to take the most out of your strategy. Players draw up to four cards and play up to two cards per turn in a dynamic yet highly strategic gameplay without strict game phases. In the Duel Mode, build your own strategy and battle other players by picking between different Powers, Archetypes, and playable Leaders, each one with a unique set of special abilities. In the Campaign Mode, prove yourself and obtain special rewards by overcoming multiple map-based challenges in an original draft format.
Causa, Voices of the Dusk should be in Early Access for four or five months, and the full release will add a ranked mode, new game content, and cosmetic items.
