BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment America has announced that the first expansion for the highly acclaimed Dark Souls III will be released in October 25, and it will cost US$ 14.99 on its own (or US$24.99 as part of the game’s Season Pass)

Gamers interested in beating From Software’s latest gauntlet of death will have to enter the cursed land of Ariandel and defeat the darkness within to uncover the mystery of what has caused the land to become defiled. In addition to adding a new environment to Dark Souls III, the Ashes of Ariandel expansion will also include new sets of weapons, armor, and magic for experienced players to discover and toy with, as well as new features for the game’s wildly popular competitive multiplayer mode.
