Novaquark announced today that their ambitious sci-fi MMO Dual Universe will release in Beta on August 27th. Players who wish to experience what this highly anticipated title has to offer won’t have to spend a big bag of gold, since the developers have also revealed that the subscription fee will be substantially lower than World of Warcraft‘s, for example, as it’ll cost US$6.99 per month, with different options available (such as a 12-months package that costs US$69.99, effectively saving players the cost of 2 months per year)
We’ve been working on Dual Universe for over four years, and after completing the foundation for all main gameplay pillars, we’re presenting a solid idea of what this unique game offers to players, and a fully playable game for Beta. This is a huge milestone for us, as it is the culmination of so much hard work from the developers and a direct result of the community’s commitment to improve the game. I’m incredibly proud of everyone involved.
Novaquark CEO Jean-Christophe Baillie.
Sci-fi fans who wish to get in on the action even sooner can purchase one of the soon to be discontinued Alpha packs, which start at US$60, and will grant instant access to the Alpha, access to the Beta, and a number of goodies depending on the selected pledge level.
