Durante Fixes Ys VIII PC Port, Adds Local Co-Op

Seems like NIS America is on a roll today when it comes to PC-related announcements. Remember the underwhelming Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana PC port? I personally loved the game, but had to agree with the people who weren’t happy with the quality of the PC conversion, as it suffered from many issues that shouldn’t have been present in a 2018 PC release. Thankfully, NIS America didn’t forget about it, and they quietly hired Peter “Durante” Thoman’s studio to fix the issues present in the port, and while they were doing that, they also added local co-op as an experimental feature. Isn’t that neat?

If you didn’t pick up the game back when it came out after hearing about the port’s issues, now would be a good time to acquaint yourself with one of the best Nihon Falcom titles to date, as NISA are hosting a 50% off sale in celebration of the updated PC port. The deal will last until January 20th, so hurry up!
