Square Enix revealed yesterday that the first six Final Fantasy games are getting pixel remasters on Steam and mobile.

We don’t have many details about these remasters, but the company released a short teaser video showcasing how the games will look. The six titles will be released individually, instead of being bundled in a single package. Final Fantasy IV: The After Years is not included as one of the games to remaster (which makes sense, considering it was released way later than Final Fantasy IV).

The games that inspired a generation come to life once more, in the ultimate 2D pixel remaster.
