Today’s unexpected fighting game cameo comes courtesy of Final Fantasy XV‘s Prince Noctis Lucis Caelum, who will join the cast of Tekken 7 in Spring 2018.
According to the reveal trailer, Noctis will have his own Final Fantasy XV themed stage, and he will use the Engine Blade featured in the latest Final Fantasy (which should be out on PC next year as well). The Prince’s flashy moves seem to be a perfect fit for Tekken 7‘s fast paced engagements, up to the point where I wonder whether Bandai Namco will expand on this partnership with Square Enix, bringing more Final Fantasy XV cast members to their acclaimed fighting game or not.
