Epic Games has just revealed that their survival building game Fortnite will now support a PVP Battle Royale mode (similar to PUBG and H1Z1: King of the Kill).

According to the Epic Games press team, this PVP mode will not affect PVE game balance, and they’ve decided to use the core Fortnite elements to support it, so players will not only kill each other, but also build their own cover (or destroy elements already present in the world, should they need to do so).

100 players will drop from the skies armed with just a pickaxe and the will to survive, and only one will remain at the end of the round.

To prepare gamers for this event, Epic will be offering a 25% discount on Fortnite‘s Standard and Deluxe Edition Founder’s Packs from September 12-18.
