A new saga begins for one of the most acclaimed video game franchises in history. After narrowly escaping an attack on their village, JD Fenix and his friends, Kait and Del, must rescue the ones they love and discover the source of a monstrous new enemy.

Gears of War 4 is available worldwide October 11 on Xbox One and Windows 10 PC as an Xbox Play Anywhere title. Buy Gears of War 4: Ultimate Edition and play four days early, starting October 7.

Although the PC version of Gears of War 4 will not feature HDR support at launch, we know that it will let gamers play at an unlocked framerate (with the exeption of the online PVP mode, which is capped at 60 fps) and that the game will support 4k monitors, with textures specifically designed to take advantage of UHD resolutions.
