Defiant Development announced this week that Hand of Fate 2 will be released on November 7, 2017 for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One/X. Gamers looking forward to this sequel to the beloved card-based action RPG should set aside US$ 29.99.
Hand of Fate 2 will task players with overcoming challenging scenarios built from collectible cards, handed out by the treacherous Dealer. This time around, we’ll be joined by a number of companions, who will not only support us in battle, but also have their own storylines. Other improvements to the formula laid out in Defiant Development’s 2015 classic include a map-based overworld, new weapon types and fighting styles, different victory conditions for combat and the card game, plus a number of all-new bosses, enemy types and storylines.
We’re excited to finally lock in a release date for Hand of Fate 2. The team has been keeping our heads down working on the game, and now that we’re nearly done, I can safely say this marks a new chapter in the level of quality we can achieve. I’m incredibly proud of this group and can’t wait to show their work to the world.
