Hello Games co-founder Sean Murray confirmed today that the PC version of No Man’s Sky won’t be released on August 9 in the US, but it will instead come out on August 12 worldwide.
This news comes after a week of speculation on No Man’s Sky’s PC release date, since the official site was updated to reflect this change, but the game’s Steam page countdown still said that it would come out in August 9.
Fans of the highly anticipated space exploration game will be disappointed, but here at Gaming on PC we would like to point out that Hello Games is launching one of the year’s most anticipated games with an indie sized team. Delays are always sad, but if three days is the price that we have to pay for a problem-free experience, we’ll take it.
