Playdius Entertainment announced today that they will publish Aurelien Regard‘s next game, a beautiful first person roguelike titled AWAY: Journey to the Unexpected. Featuring anime-inspired visuals and a beautiful soundtrack composed by Aya Majiro and Kazuhiko Naruse, AWAY will take players on a journey through a colorful world filled with wacky and joyful characters.

Aurelien Regard‘s previous title was The Next Penelope, a fast paced action racing game which combined the easy to learn controls of the MicroMachines series with its own unique art style and intriguing sci-fi story. The game was very well received, and it currently holds a “very positive” rating on Steam’s User Reviews system.
