Tripwire Interactive and Antimatter Games unleashed Rising Storm 2: Vietnam on Steam yesterday, and it seems that the Steam Community is already in love with it. Early user forecasts for the max peak concurrent players were relatively optimistic, predicting 10 thousand concurrent players for the first 24 hours, but it seems that even those weren’t optimistic enough, as the multiplayer tactical shooter smashed users’ expectations, achieving 24 thousand concurrent players in its first day.

No critic reviews are out, since the title requires a fair amount of playtime in the live servers before it can be properly reviewed, but the game’s Steam Store page currently boasts a 90% positive rating, an impressive number for an indie multiplayer shooter.
