Volition’s excellent Saints Row 2 is now free for a limited time on Steam and GOG. Gamers who pick it up during the free period will be able to keep the open world action title after the offer ends. This promotion will probably help raise awareness of the developer’s next title, Agents of Mayhem (set in the same universe as the Saints Row games).

The GOG giveaway ends on April 22, 10 AM UTC, and the Steam promotion lasts for 24 hours.

Saints Row 2 brings true freedom to open-world gaming. Players can play as who they want, how they want, and with whomever they want in this sequel to the much acclaimed and tremendously successful Saints Row.
