Looks like 2019 will be a good year for Gundam fans, as a new trailer posted on Bandai Namco Entertainment’s Southeast Asia Youtube channel has revealed that SD Gundam G Generation Cross Rays will be released on PC later this year.
The G Generation series saw its 20th anniversary in 2018. The latest work, SD Gundam G Generation Cross Rays, features characters and Mobile Suits from the Mobile Suit Gundam Wing, Mobile Suit Gundam SEED, Mobile Suit Gundam 00, and Mobile Suit Gundam Iron-Blooded Orphans series. The game is slated for release in 2019 for the PlayStation®4, Nintendo Switch™, and STEAM® in Southeast Asia (Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, the Philippines, and Indonesia).
While we don’t have many details surrounding this release, it’s a pretty big announcement, as this is the first time the strategy RPG series hits PC. Hopefully the port will not disappoint (so far, Bandai Namco’s output has been strong in that front).
