Remember Raiders of the Broken Planet, now known as Spacelords? Well, MercurySteam‘s free to play cooperative shooter has just added full cross-play between PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One (this also includes cross-cross-play (?) between the Windows 10 Store and Steam versions).

Of course, this means queue times will be improved for fans playing on all systems, and matchmaking should also be far more precise since there’s a bigger pool of players to account for.

Implementing full cross-play is a really complex endeavor for any developer. For a small independent team like MercurySteam, the effort we put behind enabling this feature speaks volumes of our commitment to offer our fantastic community as many options to play Spacelords with total freedom as possible.
