When is a game title too long? That was certainly not something THQ and Nickelodeon creatives were concerned about as they sat down to name their upcoming collaboration based on the mega popular SpongeBob SquarePants franchise 17 years ago, and that was still the case when THQ Nordic decided to remaster Battle for Bikini point, since the game’s already super long title got an extension at that time.

But enough idle chatter. THQ Nordic revealed today that SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom – Rehydrated will be released on June 23rd for PC and current generation consoles. If you are the sort of person who doesn’t mind pre-ordering a game, then you might be happy to learn that you can give THQ Nordic your hard-earned cash right away, as preorders should go live today (for PC and Xbox One copies, other platforms will follow suit later).
