Frogwares‘ intriguing open world detective adventure The Sinking City will miss its original March 21st release date, arriving instead on June 27th. The developers have been very open with their community, saying that the reason for this delay is that there are many highly anticipated titles coming out on The Sinking City‘s original release window, so in order to have a better chance of success, their Lovecraft-inspired adventure game will ship on a less crowded week.

While this delay can come as a disappointment to many (myself included), I applaud the developers’ openness, and understand the reasoning behind it, as March has turned out to be a very crowded month, with titles like The Division 2, Devil May Cry 5 or Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice fighting for gamers’ money and time.
