Xbox Cloud Gaming Now Available On PC

Microsoft has just enabled Xbox Cloud Gaming support for Game Pass Ultimate members who own a Windows 10 PC and live in one of the 22 supported countries for the service.

Xbox Cloud Gaming was previously available for Game Pass Ultimate members who used Android mobile devices, so this news is exciting, should you happen to be in a supported region (today’s update also introduced support for Apple phones and tablets via browser). In order to access the service, you just need to head over to this link and login with your Xbox account. Games are currently being streamed at 1080p/60fps to ensure a good balance of latency and resolution, so take that into account if you usually game at 4k.

The games will be streamed from custom Xbox Series X hardware built specifically for this purpose, so you will need a gamepad in order to be able to enjoy them, as far as I understood. Still, it’s a pretty cool way to play some of the games that are currently available on Xbox Game Pass Ultimate for console/cloud and not PC (stuff like Outriders).
